Pretec ExpressCard/34 SSD (Solid State Disk) is a new member to Pretec’s dual-interface family, dubbed “Cobra.” A smaller and faster plug-in module solution that fully supports USB 2.0 applications, it comes in with a mini-USB interface on the one end, which can be used as a regular USB flash drive, while other end is the ExpressCard interface.
Pretec ExpressCard/34 SSD features the first with hardware-based security AES-256 encryption with the “Robust AES protection" model. Its low power consumption and light weight make it perfect as a mobile storage solution in notebook computers with ExpressCard® slot.
The newest application and most convenient for portable devices such as Sub-Notes, Mobile Internet Device (MID), Ultra-Mobile Personal Computer (UMPC) and for embedded systems adopting the Express Card form factor.
